Technology has never been something I thought much about. I know how to use a computer or laptop with ease for basic activities. I surf the web on a regular bases and use email often. At Florida State an email account is mandatory so it has made it a daily activity to check for school. In high school I was seldomly expected to do anything on a computer besides writing papers with Word Document. I am able to use a computer with no help for Word and Power-point. I do not know much about Excel.
I hope that taking this class hones my computer skills. I have no problems with Word and I am familiar with Powerpoint, but I hope to learn more about Powerpoint and Excel from this course. Although this course is manadatory for most education majors, I hope to learn some skills an eduacation major would gain.
I want to share with the class that I am very angry that we are required to purchase the $114 SAM bundle. I think it is completely unfair to be required to purchase such an expensive package for this course. I believe that it should be included in signing up for this course and that it should not be manadatory.
